Method A:

1. Place the seed in boiling water and leave overnight.
2. The next day, plant the seed in a free-draining soil mix, just covering the seed lightly.
3. Keep the soil moist but not wet.
4. Place the seed tray in a warm area, either in full sun or a greenhouse for the best germination conditions.

Method B:

1. Place the seed between two sheets of sandpaper and lightly rub the top coat off to aid in germination.
2. Plant the seed in a free-draining soil mix, just covering the seed lightly, as described above.
