Description
Crotalaria capensis – Cape Rattlepod
Family: Fabaceae
Packet Size: 10 seeds
Description
Crotalaria capensis, commonly called Cape Rattlepod, is an African flowering shrub valued for its attractive yellow pea-shaped blossoms. The flowers are arranged in hanging clusters and contrast beautifully with the soft green foliage.
An informal addition to a sunny warm-climate garden, it offers a different texture from more familiar flowering shrubs. Like other rattlepods, the plant develops seed pods after flowering.
