Backhousia citriodora seed propagation

  • The best time to plant is spring but if you have a greenhouse or heat mat, you could try it in winter.
  1. Soak seeds in water for 24 hours.
  2. Place seeds in a sterile seed-raising mix.
  3. Likes well-draining soil so you could add some sand, small stones, bark or vermiculite to the mix.
  4. Place seeds just under the soil and keep moist but not soaked.
  5. Place pot in a warm position.
