• South African ornamental fruit tree
• Grows into a large tree, spreads wide as well
• Grows well in shade
• Attractive to birds and butterflies
• Tart fruit, perfect for jams, jellies and chutneys

Propagation method

1. Soak for 24-48 hours in lukewarm water
2. Dampen a paper towel
3. Place the seeds on the towel and wrap them up in half
4. Place in a zip-lock bag in a warm place
5. Once the seeds have sprouted, place them in a pot with good seed-raising mix eg Coir or sowing mix + sand, or perlite
6. Keep moist but not wet in a sunny location
